日本食品店/Japanese Food Shop

今日は日本食品店に行ってみました。元は韓国系がメインだったお店がもっと日本人向けメインのお店を別にオープンさせたんだって。日本で売ってる値段と比べると色々高くてね。。私は自分で大量に持って来た物や、母親や友達が沢山送ってくれたので最小限のお買い物で済んでるけど、ここで調味料とか買うようになったらエンゲル係数高くなりそう。。

I went to Japanese food shop today. Other shop was mainly Korean but the owner opened another one more for Japanese. Of course... but things are quite expensive compared to price in Japan. I don't have to buy too much here since I brought many stuff and also my mom and friends sent me many stuff. Though if I have to buy everything here, Engel's coefficient will definitely rise..

パリのブックオフ/Book-off in Paris

日本語書籍のお店はジュンク堂が前からあったみたいですが、Book-offが出来てから安く手に入れられる本も出来たと以前パリに住んでいる方に教えてもらいました。

でもね、新しいマンガは古本だけど日本で買うより高いの。日本で530円とかで売ってるのが7ユーロとか。最新刊なんかは9.8ユーロとかで売ってる。次回日本に帰った時はマンガもっと買って帰ろうかな。。

I was told that they had Junku-do as Japanese book store in Paris from little while ago. Though seems like people are now able to get secondhand book with cheaper price after Book-off came to Paris.

But... new manga are more expensive even it's secondhand book.. 530yen manga is sold at 7 euro. For the newest books, it's like 9.8 euro. I might get more manga back next time I go back to Japan..

パリのバスについて学ぶ/Learn About Bus in Paris

今日のバスについての学び。

①　行き先を見て乗ろう。途中で止まった。。次のバスがどこに行くか分からない停留所だったので雨の中歩くことに。。（何も情報がないバス停と色々情報があるバス停がある。）

②　同じ停留所に色んな路線が停まるけど、定位置までいつも来る訳ではない。別の番号のバスが停留所の目の前に止まり、乗りたいバスはすぐ後ろに。てっきり停留所の目の前で止まると思ったら、後ろに止まってる間に乗客は乗るらしい。寂しくも目の前を通過していった。。

③　次のバスまで結構間があいている。でもとりあえず待つ。すると２台同じバスが来た。何でだろう。これは解明出来ずバスの日終了。

日々学びです。

Today's learning regarding the bus.

①　Check the destination before getting on. It stopped on the way today.. I had to walk in the rain since the bus stop didn't show when and where the next bus is coming and going.

②　Several buses stop at the same bus stop but they don't all come right in front. Different bus was stopping in front. My bus was right behind. I waited for them to come in front of the bus stop but seems like they put people on the bus while they were stopping behind. My bus passed before me..

③　I waited for the next bus and somehow this time, 2 buses (both my bus) came. I still don't know why..

I learn everyday..

フランス移民局へ/OFII Day

さて、私は婚姻ビザで入国しましたが、これだけではフランスに滞在し続けることが出来ません。入国から3ヶ月以内に移民局（OFII）に行ってしかるべき手続きをする必要がありると。入国後、所定の書類をOFIIに送ると数週間後にOFIIから書類が返って来る。そして指定された日時にOFIIへ。本日行って参りました〜。

フランスに住むための心得、的ビデオをグループで１時間くらい見てから担当者と個人面接（対談？）。といっても何でもやってくれるうちの旦那さまは一緒について来てくれたので（笑）、個人面接では旦那さまも一緒。しかもフランス人の旦那さまならいいわよ、ということで一つ講習免除してもらえた！ラッキー☆後は簡単な健康診断受けた。これは受けて、という予防接種についても言われる。

講習は計３つ受ける必要があるらしい。全部１日とか半日もの。長い。。しかもまとめて終わらない。順番に一つずつ予約取って行く。これらは今ある１年のビザが切れる前に受講しなくてはいけない。ちなみにビザの更新手続きは、ビザが切れる５ヶ月前から開始しなくてはいけない。あっという間だね〜・・・。他国に滞在するってのは大変なんだな〜。。これでも日本人だから通常より手続き早いらしい。

問題なく自国で生まれ育っているとなかなか実感出来ないけど、ビザ関係は国によって色々あるんだな〜と。OFIIには基本的に招集状を持ってなければ入れないらしいけれど、何を訴えたいのか、何を求めているのか、OFIIの入り口の前には招集状を持たない沢山の人まで大集合。。押したり大声出したり。それをかき分けて入る。大変だった〜。

講習受けたりしなきゃいけないけど、とりあえず無事に正式な長期滞在証発行してもらえました〜。今日もまた旦那さまにお世話になった１日なのでした。

I entered France with marriage visa but you need further procedure with OFII for long term stay. I went to OFII to do further process today.

We see a video in a group for about 1 hour. It's something like 'integration process in France'. Then have individual interview with OFII person. Though my hubby came together for me so it was two vs one for us : ) Also she exempted one course that I should take since I had French husband : D Then take simple health check and get advise about vaccination.

There are 3 courses (half day or one day course) people need to take before the visa expires. Also you need to start the visa extension process 5 months before the visa expires... Quite painful process to live in different country... Though it's said that Japanese are faster in process like this..

There were many people in front of OFII. They can't go inside since they don't have the proper paper or something but there were lot of people pushing and talking loudly.. It was pretty scary..

I need to take some courses but got the official certificate successfully with my hubby's help. Thank you : ) as always!

クリスマスツリーのデコレーション、お友達が遊びに来るということで第一ステップとして少々飾ってみました。作：旦那さま

旦那さまの会社カラーのオレンジで☆そしてセールになってたハローキティが１つ（笑）。

Since our friends were visiting, we decided to decorate the tree a little bit.

Decorated with my hubby's company color orange : ) One Hello Kitty that was on sale is mixed : D

たこ焼き器万歳！/Takoyaki！

日本のお友達から「これは美味しく出来る！」と教えてもらい、パリでもカセットガスが売られていることを確認して日本で購入。最近母に送ってもらってパリに届いたIWATANIの「たこ焼き器、炎たこ」。旦那さまの友達夫妻が遊びに来て大活躍☆Aさま、ママ、ありがとう〜！楽しかったよ〜♪

ちなみに今回はたこ焼きじゃなくてチーズ、ベーコン、お餅など活用しました〜（＾＾）

My friend in Japan told me that this takoyaki grill from IWATANI is really good. I checked that the cassette gas is sold in Paris then bought it in Japan. Mom sent this to Paris recently and it was great success using it at dinner with friends at home! A-sama, mom, thank you so much! It was fun : ))

Octopus is usually the filling but this time, we did with cheese, bacon, mochi. It was good!

リッツで朝食を/Breakfast at Ritz

いつもと同じく父は怒濤の出張スケジュールで突然パリ訪問のお知らせが。会う時間がほぼ無くて朝食を一緒に食べました。特典を活用して今回はゴージャスにリッツに泊まった父。リッツで朝食はとても豪華でした〜♪

クリスマスの飾り付けにもうっとり〜☆

As usual.. dad came to Paris with hectic schedule. Didn't have much time to see him so went to his hotel to eat breakfast together. He used a benefit and stayed at Ritz this time. Breakfast at Ritz was gorgeous! 

Christmas decoration was very nice too : ))

蘭、再び！/Orchid Blooms Again！

我が家には蘭が4鉢あると以前書きました。私の母は蘭を咲かせるのが大得意で、毎年また咲かせるのでもらった蘭の鉢がどんどん実家では増えてました☆

母を見習って枝を切って待ってたら咲きました！あと２本も新しい枝が出て来ている♪（見えるかな？）切った枝の脇から新しい枝が生えるのを見ると植物ってすごいなあと。オフィスで育ててたアイビーみたい。

ちなみに蘭の水やりは旦那さまがやってくれます（笑）。

I wrote that we have 4 orchid pot at our place before. My mom is really good at making the orchid bloom every year, so pot at home was always increasing : )

Learning from my mom, we were waiting the next one to bloom and here it is! There are 2 other ones coming too : D It's really impressive to realize how plants are strong. New branch grows next from the branch we cut. Reminds me of the ivy pot I had in the office.

BTW, my hubby is always watering the orchids.. ; )

クリスマスツリーを買う/Buy a Christmas Tree

今日は久々にマルシェへ。（苦手なので何となく避けている・・。でも今日はレモンおまけしてもらってちょっと気分良し。）そしたらクリスマスツリーが売っていた！旦那さまも仕事から駆けつけてくれてツリーゲット！やった〜♪

いい匂いだけど葉っぱが沢山落ちるタイプと、匂いはあまりしないけど葉っぱが落ちないタイプがある。つい片付けを考えてしまい、落ちないタイプを買いました（＾＾ゞ。でも匂い用にいくつか枝もらえた☆デコレーションしたらまたアップしまーす☆

It's been a long time since I went to marche last time. (Still not good going to marche.. but they gave me extra lemon today which made me feel good.) Then I found Christmas tree! My hubby came over from the office to get one! Yeah!

You have a choice between good smell but lots of leaves fall, or doesn't smell that much but not much leaves fall either. Got the one that has less leaves falling ; ) They gave some branches from the one that smells too : D I'll upload some photo after decoration : )

ひょうが降る/Sudden Hailstone

買い物から帰って来た途端激しい雨、そしてひょうになった！滑り込みで家に戻っててラッキー☆ここ数日晴れても雨が降ったりする。でも晴れるとラッキーな気分になる（笑）。

As soon as I came back from shopping, it started raining hard than changed to hailstone! Fortunate to be back before that! Even it's sunny, it starts to rain at some point these days. Though I feel lucky when I see the sun : )

家で作るフォアグラ/Homemade Foie Gras

義姉の送別ディナーでお義母さんがフォアグラを手作りしたのですが、こっちではスーパーでこんなキットが売ってました。そうそう、こんな感じでした。家でフォアグラって感覚がフランスさね。

At my sister in law's farewell dinner, my mother in law made foie gras. I found a homemade kit in supermarket. It sounds so French to me making and eating foie gras at home!

うまっ！リゾット/Great Risotto！

自作ですみませんが、、今日作ったチーズリゾットが超美味しく出来た♪いや〜、我ながら上出来（＾＾）。旦那さまに「市販の何か使ったんじゃないよね？」と聞かれましたが、、ちゃんと作ったよ〜☆

Sorry it's not a good restaurant introduction... but cheese Risotto I made today was delicious! I did well if I do say so myself : D My hubby asked if I used any retort food : 0 I made it all : ))

デザートクレープ/Dessert Crepe

今日は旦那さまの従兄夫婦のお家でご飯。デザートが自分で好きなものを乗っけようクレープ！これは楽しい、美味しい♪

We had dinner at my hubby's cousin's house. Dessert was crepe with anything you like on top! This was fun and good : ))

酸辣湯麺、バゲットを添えて・・/Su-ra-tanmen with a Baguette..

日本から持って来た大好きな酸辣湯麺をランチに☆旦那さまは美味しいと食べてくれたけど、バゲットをスープに付けて完食するとは私の想像を超えてた。。

We ate su-ra-tanmen which I brought from Japan. I love this food! My hubby liked it too but he finished the soup with a baguette. Couldn't imagine this to happen..

5つ星ホテル！？/ 5 Star Hotel！？

朝起きたら枕元に朝飲むお水にロイヤルミルクティーに剥いてあるオレンジが。「５つ星ホテルだよ〜（笑顔）」と旦那さま。。オレンジ食べた後のフィンガーボールも付けて「６つ星かな〜」と言うので、「紅茶がちょっと冷めてたから５つ星。」と無情な言葉を言ってみた。我ながらちょっといじわるだった・・（笑）。

I found water, royal milk tea and oranges by the bed when I woke up. My hubby comes with a smile saying 'it's 5 star hotel! I even prepared finger bowl to wash hands after eating orange. Maybe 6 star?'.. I told him 'hmm.. 5 star since the milk tea was not hot enough : p'. Yes, I felt like a mean person..

今日は赤/Something Red

今日は旦那さまのお友達の結婚パーティー☆奥様が日本人ということもあって、私も半年くらい前に紹介してもらって夫婦共々お友達。彼女はとっても勉強家で移住して１年ちょっとだけど、日常的な会話は全く困ってない感じ。すごい！うーん。。見習いたいところだけど・・（＾＾；）

不都合な話はさておき！？今日は何か赤いものを身につけて来て、と。赤いタバコの箱をぶら下げてるだけの人とかも（笑）。

We went to my hubby's friend's wedding party today. Bride is Japanese so I was introduced to the couple like half an year ago. She is such hard working that she has no problem on daily communication in French! Awesome! I probably can't be good as her...

Anyway! today's theme was to to come with something red. Funniest one was just hanging red cigarette case. haha.

フランスのマック/McDonald in France

フランスのマックにはセルフレジ（？）があった。使ってみたら注文完了してすぐ出て来たので便利かも。でもマック、超混んでる。。旦那さま情報によると、フランスはアメリカに続いてマックの収入高第二位とか。（ちゃんと確認はしてませぬ。）ちょっと意外〜。

There was self cash register in McDonald in France. We tried and it came out as soon as the order was done so might be convenient. Though it was sooooo crowded! According to my hubby (didn't check official data..), France is No.2 in terms of revenue after US. I thought it's quite unexpected.
