Restaurant: 「Pomze」

今日は日本人のお友達２人と「Pomze」というレストランでお食事しました☆。今日は旦那さまにはお留守番をお願いして、何とお家に帰ったのは夜中の1時！沢山お話しました（＾＾）

お友達の一人がシェフを知ってるということで通常とは違うコースだったようです。最後のアイスクリーム入れて何と合計14皿！少しずつ色んなものを食べることが出来て楽しかったです♪特に貝類のお皿がお友達は気に入った模様（＾＾）

お店の名前もリンゴに由来してますが、元々はどのお皿にもりんごを使っていたという名残から？出て来たパンもリンゴが入ってたり、バターもリンゴバターと珍しい。でも今は全てのお皿ではなく、リンゴが合うお皿にだけリンゴを使ってるとか。

全部説明してるとエンドレスなので、写真だけ〜（＾＾ゞ

前菜３皿、シーフードで4皿、コンソメスープ、お肉2皿、デザート4皿です。

言うまでもなく堪能！美味しくぜーんぶ頂きました♪

２人はワインも堪能してて美味しそうで羨ましかったです（*^^*）

I went to 「Pomze」with my 2 Japanese friends today. Hubby stayed home (sorry!) and I got home at 1am! We talked a lot : )

One of the friend knew the chef so seems like the chef prepared special course for us. We had total 14 plates including the ice cream at the end! We were able to enjoy various things and it was very nice : )) I think my friends especially liked the dishes with shells. 

As you might be able to imagine from the name of the restaurant but originally, they were using apple on all plates. Thus the bread and butter even includes apple! Seems like they only use apple when it matches now.

I can't explain all 14 plates! so photo only this time ; )

3 appetizers, 4 seafood dishes, consomme soup, 2 meat plates and 4 desserts! They were all very good : ) My friends were also enjoying wine!!

フランスのママに学ぶ/Learn from Mom in France

今日は旦那さまの部下の奥さまのところに、出産、子育てグッズについて教えてもらいに行ってきました。奥さまは３ヶ月前に出産したばかり。

奥さまは前から「ゆみこは直接来て私に話を聞いた方がいいわ」と言ってくれてたらしく、入院の時にあった方が良いもの、出産後欲しいもの、子育てにあたって便利なものなどなど、フランスの「生の声」を細かく聞かせてくれて、とっても助かりました（＾＾）。

今の私には日本にしか頼れるママ友達がいないので、日本のお友達に色々教えてもらっていますが、日本とフランスだと違う状況が多々あるようなので、フランスの奥さまのお話も聞ける機会があって良かったです。

しかし、、世のママさん達、本当にたーくさんのオプションから皆よく選べるものだと、調べたり選んだりが苦手な私は本当に感心した日でした（＠＠）。人に教えてもらわないとなかなか進まない私（； ；）、がんばろう。

Today, I went to hear about giving birth, after birth goods to my hubby's employee's wife's place. She gave birth 3 months ago.

She was saying from before that I should come to see and hear directly. She told me many details. It was really nice for me to have a chance to hear things directly from mom in France.

I only have mom friends in Japan and they tell me many things though there are different situation from Japan so it was very nice to be able to talk to mom in France.

BTW... I was impressed on how much option there are (@@) rather confused.. I can't go forward very much without people's help but hope I can improve ; )

春の訪れ/Coming of Spring

最近のパリは10℃超えの日が続きます。お天気も良いので公園をお散歩したら春の訪れを感じました♪このまま温かくなるといいなあ。

Recently, temperature is above 10℃ in Paris. I walked the park with good weather today and felt the coming of Spring = ) I hope it keeps getting warmer.

著しい成長/Remarkable Growth

今日は旦那さまの従兄のお家へ。昨年夏に女の子を出産した彼女は、既に着れなくなってしまったベビー肌着やお洋服が沢山あるからくれるということで、ありがたく頂きにお邪魔してきました。まだ8ヶ月弱ですが、既に着れなくなったお洋服の数を見てびっくり（笑）

子供の成長は早いと、子供を持つ友達が口を揃えて言うけれど、本当に早いんだなあとしみじみ。今まで友達に出産お祝いでお洋服とかあげたけれど、サイズと季節、これからはもっと上手にプレゼントしたいと思います（＾＾；）。今まであげたけど使えなかった皆ごめんね〜m（＿＿）m

We went to my hubby's cousin's house today. She gave birth to a baby girl last summer. She has many clothes that her baby can not wear anymore so she kindly offered us to pick it up. Baby is little less than 8 months but surprisingly, she had lots that can not use anymore!

My friends with baby all say it's really surprising how your baby grow fast, but I realized a lot today. I gave many gifts to friends but I think I will be better on choosing size and season going forward! Sorry to friends who couldn't use the gifts I gave in the past!

外してみました・・/Took it off..

２週間くらい前からすぐ指先がしびれます。第一と第二間接を曲げると痛い！寝て起きた後は一番痛いです（涙）。ゆっくりにぎにぎすると直ってきますが、ここ数日は加えて浮腫みも出て来たので、指輪を取ることにしました。取れなくなってからじゃ怖いし（＞＜）。

旦那さま・・「結婚指輪はしててもいいんじゃない？」と最初言ってましたが、危ないから一応両方取るので最後は納得。「万が一切られたら嫌だからね（ブツブツ・・）。」と自分で自分を説得してる感じで申し訳なかったけど、この記事書いてる今も指はパンパン！産んだらまたはめるから待っててね〜☆

My fingers fall asleep often recently. When I bend my first and second joint, it hurts! It hurts the most when I wake up ; ( After I slowly bend, it gets better but additionally these few days, my fingers gets swollen easily too! So I decided to take off my rings before I can't take them off!

Hubby first said it should be ok for the wedding ring.. but he understood to take off both.. Trying to make himself understand that we aren't happy if we need to cut it or something.. just in case.. I felt bad but even right now, my fingers are super swollen! I hope to get it back on soon after giving birth!

Restaurant: 「L'EPI DUPIN」

先週に引き続き、またお気に入りのレストランに連れて行ってもらいました。わーい♪
「L'EPI DUPIN」。高級デパート、ボン・マルシェのすぐ近くです。

入ってすぐ、日本人の女の子観光客４人組とカップルが一組いました。旦那さまがお店の知り合いに日本人が多いね、と言ったら、何と！店員に日本語を話せるスタッフが２人もいるとか。せっかくなので私のためにメニューを全部日本語で説明してもらいました（＾＾）！「まだひらがなレベルなんです」、と言ってましたが、メニューの説明は慣れてるのか上手でした〜☆

Following last week, my hubby tool me to another restaurant he likes today : D 「L'EPI DUPIN」. Very close to Le Bon Marche.

There were 4 Japanese girls (probably tourist) and a Japanese couple so my hubby asked the staff if the restaurant was on Japanese guide. They told us that they have 2 staff that speaks Japanese! We of course asked for Japanese menu explanation for me : ) He said he is still at 'hiragana' level, but he was very good!

アミューズブッシュ（前菜前の一皿）は冷たいスープ。上がセロリのスープで下がスウィートポテトの固まったスープ。美味しい〜♪
Amuse bouche was cold soup. Celery soup on top and sweet potato soup at the bottom. C'est bon!

前菜は、私は手長海老のスープと唐揚げ、旦那さまは牛テールサラダ。手長海老のスープが濃厚〜。牛テールも美味しい〜♪
I took shrimp soup which was super thick! with chicken croquette. Hubby took beef tail salad. Very good!

メインは、私は鴨のしょうが、蜂蜜キャラメリゼ、旦那さまは豚のほほ肉。お肉はほんと妊婦さんじゃない時（ウェルダンじゃなくていい時）に来るのが良いと思います（＞＜）。それでも美味しかったです☆
I had duck with ginger, honey caramelize, hubby took pork cheek. I think it would taste much better if I'm not pregnant (=not well-done!) though it was still good ; )

デザートはチョコタルトとタイム、レモンアイス、旦那さまはサブレのグレープフルーツ乗せ〜。いや〜、満足（*^^*）
Chocolate tarte with thyme, citron ice cream and sable with grape fruit. Both were delicious : ))

強いて一つ言うなら・・カフェにチョコレート付いてなかった。。こっちは最後のコーヒーをオーダーすると、大体チョコレートが付いてくるのです。知らない内に旦那さまが付けないように言ったか！？（濡れ衣　笑）

If I can add one thing.. I didn't get chocolate with my cafe.. Usually in France, you get one piece of chocolate with your cafe at the end. Did my hubby tell them to not give it to me!? (false accusation.. probably..)

今日は病院の検診だったのですが、糖分コントロールのおかげで！？ベビちゃんのサイズも順調とのこと！なのでデザートオッケー出ました☆良かった〜♪

I had check-up at the hospital today and the baby was in good shape : D Bebe is not too big! Thus I was able to eat dessert today ; ))

通常コース最終日/Last Day of Regular Course

今日は移民局から提供されている無料フランス語レッスン、通常コースの最終日でした。1日4時間、週5日、計４週間、80時間。今回の先生、私はとても好きだったのでこのままもう少し続けたかったのですが、この後2週間の試験準備コースがあり、その後はテスト。落ちると長期ビザを更新してもらえないことがあるとか・・。

この2週間を逃すと次の機会は出産後らしいので、出産前に取っておいた方がいいかなと。とか言って試験落ちたら元も子もないけど。。

Today was the last day of regular French class provided by OFII. 4hours a day, 5 days a week, total 4 weeks, 80hours. I really liked the teacher this time so I wanted to continue with her but I have to take exam prep course for 2 weeks after this and then take the exam. If you fail the exam, there is a possibility that I won't get my long term visa extended..

If I don't take this one, seems like the next one is after giving birth so I thought it would be better to take it during March. Hope I don't fail...

昨年9月のブログでも書いたのですが、クラスはとにかく国籍豊富。途中出入りが少しありましたが、今回は、ロシア、スロバキア、アイルランド、アゼルバイジャン、イタリア、エルサルバドル、アルゼンチン、タイ、ポーランド、アルメニア、アメリカ、スウェーデン、ブラジル、日本の１４カ国！楽しいクラスでした（＾＾）

I wrote in the blog last September too but class includes many nationality. We had joiners and leavers during the 4 weeks but this time, we had Russia, Slovakia, Ireland, Azerbaijan, Italy, El Salvador, Argentina, Thai, Poland, Armenia, America, Sweden, Brazil and Japan. Total from 14 countries! It was a fun class : )

フロス/Floss

日本でたまに使ってた歯のためのフロス、フランスではメジャーではないらしく、一般的な物が揃うスーパーでは今のところ売ってるのを見たことがありません。ということで薬屋さんでゲットしました。

日本では高いから、アメリカに行った時に買って来て、と昔は母によく言われていましたが、パリでは約5ユーロ（今のレートで約530円）でした。高いかも？

I wanted to get floss in Paris but at even at supermarkets, I couldn't find it. So I got it at a pharmacies.

Long time ago, my mom used to tell me to get some when I went to US since it's cheaper. Though it was 5 euro in Paris. I thought it's quite expensive..

栄養補給/Nutritional Support

昨日のこともあったので、鉄分豊富という切り干し大根やお野菜をメインにした食事にしてみました。旦那さま、とても喜んでおりました。。

Learning from yesterday.. I made a meal with kiriboshi-daikon (dry cut radish??) that includes a lot of iron and meal mainly with vegetable.  Hubby was very happy..

ちなみにおやつには煮干しを食べたり。。

我が家に残ってるチョコレートさんや甘いお菓子達、お腹に収めてあげたい・・。

and for snack, I eat dried sardine which contains lots of calcium..

I want to eat chocolates and sweets that are in our house..

遅刻＋早退/Arrive Late and Leave Early..

朝、私の様子を見て学校をお休みした方が良いと言う旦那さま。別にそんな調子悪くないと言う私。（別にほんとに悪くなかった。と思う。）妥協案で１時間程遅刻して行くことで渋々旦那さま了承。

授業は１日４時間ですが、２時間程受けたところで気分が・・。運良くお仕事が重なってなかった旦那さまが車で迎えに来てくれて、学校は早退。

帰りの車中、「僕の方がゆみの体調はよく分かるんだよ」と言われて、今日は何も言い返せず（ーー；）。。うーん。。。

This morning, my hubby said I should take a day off from school looking at my face. Though I said I'm ok. (I really thought I'm ok.) As a compromise, we agreed that I would go to school 1 hour late.

My class is 4 hours everyday but after I took 2hours, I started feeling sick and had to leave school early.. Fortunately, my hubby was able to pick me up..

On our way back in the car, hubby told me that he knows more about my condition which I couldn't say anything back today... ; 0

フランスは冬休み/Winter Vacation in France

フランスではクリスマス休暇の後、この頃２週間の冬休みがあるそうな。学校がお休みらしく、今日はいつもの公園は人がいっぱい。冬の間開いてるのを見たことなかった公園内のクレープ屋さんも開いてました☆

ちなみに次のお休みは4月のイースター休暇とか。また２週間くらいらしい。その後は7月、8月の夏休み。その後は・・多いのでまたの機会に（笑）。

In France, after Christmas holiday, there is 2 weeks winter vacation around this time. Schools are off so the park was very crowded today. Crepe place in the park was opened today too. (I never saw it open during winter time so far.)

FYI, next vacation is 2 weeks in April for Easter. Next is 2 months of summer vacation in July and August. Next is... maybe next time since there are so many!

土鍋を使わないでお鍋/'Nabe' without Clay Pot

こちらで日本の土鍋が売ってないことはないのですが、とにかく高い！そして日本から持ってくるには、そして送ってもらうには重さの関係でまだ実現してません。ということで我が家では２人でお鍋をする時は深めのフライパンで代用。

お友達が来た時は、お義母さんから頂いたすごい大きなお鍋（フランスではWokという物らしい。普段はタイ料理に使うとか。）を使ってます。中華鍋の取っ手がなくてもっと厚い版みたいな感じです。

事足りてるけど、いつか土鍋日本から持って来よう〜っと。

I can find Japanese clay pot in France but it's so expensive! and it's too heavy to bring or send from Japan so far. Thus we use a deep pan when it's two of us. 

When we have friends, we use a very big pan called wok that my mother in law gave us. Hubby told me it's usually used for Thai food. It's like chinese pan without the handle but thicker.

I don't have much problem now but I wish to bring a clay pot from Japan some day ; )

バレンタインディナー/Valentine's Day Dinner

今日は夫婦でバレンタインディナーへお出かけ♡パリを少し外に出た、旦那さまの実家に近いレストラン「L'Escarbelle」へ。お店は20時から開店。（19:45に着いた私達は一番乗り　笑）。開店と同時に続々とお客様が入ってあっという間に席はいっぱいになってました。かろうじて！？まだ着れたストレッチ素材の妊娠前のお洋服を着て（笑）、２人のお食事を楽しんできました♪

We went for Valentine's dinner tonight. It was a restaurant little outside Paris closer to my hubby's parent's house. 「L'Escarbelle」 It opens from 20pm and the seats became full immediately! (We arrvied at 19:45 so was the first guest. haha.) I had stretch material dress I could still fit ; )

前菜はうずらとトリュフをお芋の一種のムース、とロブスターのラビオリ。これは二皿とも抜群に美味しかった〜！トレビアン！

We took quail, truffles with jerusalem artichoke mouse and lobster ravioli. Both of them were super delicious! Tres bien!

メインは鳩と鹿のお肉を頂きました。トレビアン！ほどではないけど美味しかった（＾＾）。妊婦さん用にぎりぎりまで火を通したのもあるかなと。

For main dish, we took pigeon and deer. It wasn't as tres bien! as appetizer but was very good : ) One reason might be that they cooked well for pregnant women.

デザートは大好きなチョコレートとマロンとアイスクリームが全部入ったプレートと、旦那さまは梨のデザート☆（今日は甘いものオッケー！）

I took a dessert that has all of my favorites! Chocolate, marron and ice cream ; D Hubby took dessert with pear. (Approved to take sweets today!)

最初のパンから最後のお菓子まで美味しい、幸せなバレンタインディナーでした（*^^*）旦那さまありがとう〜♡

From the bread (beginning) to the sweets at the end, it was very good and I spent a great Valentine's dinner ; )) Thank you hubby♡
