冷凍食品専門店「ピカール」/Frozen Food Specialized Store 'Picard'

ピカールという冷凍食品専門のお店があります。こちらではかなりメジャーのよう。野菜、お魚、お肉、デザート、そのままチンして食べられるものなど色々。こちらの日本人の主婦の方に教えてもらいました。うちから徒歩10分くらいのところにもあったのでちょっと見てきました。確かに色々。すぐ欲しいと思う物がなかったのと、うちの冷凍庫にはあまりスペースがないので、今回は何も買わなかったですが、今度冷凍のお魚とか活用してみたいと思います。

There is a shop for just frozen food called 'Picard' in France. Seems to be very popular here. They have veggies, fish, meat, cooked frozen food etc.. My Japanese housewife friend here told me about it. I realized that we have one pretty close to our place. so I went to check it out. I didn't find something I want and our freezer don't have much space so I didn't get anything this time but maybe I can use fish soon.

フランス語学校再開！/French School Again...!

お気づきの方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、私は９月以来フランス語学校に通ってません。。言い訳は沢山あって・・日本一時帰国とか、妊娠中体調が優れなかったりとか、無料レッスン待ってたとか。。でも今日から再開！今度は話せるようになるつもりでがんばります（＞＜）！（9月のレッスンは何だったんだ！？って突っ込みは受け付けません。。だってずっと住むって意識が低かったんだもん。。言い訳・・。）

Some people might have realized but I haven't gone to French school since September.. Tons of excuses.. such as I was in Japan, wasn't feeling good during pregnancy, was waiting for free lesson etc... Though I restarted from today! I will work hard this time ; 0 !! Don't ask me 'what was September!?'.. I was not ready I guess...

サンデーチキン/Sunday Chicken

今日は旦那さまの実家でランチでした。旦那さま大好物ローストチキン（日曜に食べると更に美味！？ということでサンデーチキン）。こっちではマルシェなどでも売ってるのですが、今までいくつかのところで買って食べた中で義母の作ったものが一番美味しかった☆

We had lunch at my hubby's parent's house today. My mother in law prepared roast chicken (tastes especially good on Sunday!? so we call it Sunday chicken). Roast chicken are sold in marche too and we tried several places but today's was the best!

Restaurant: 「Aki Boulanger」

ランチの後にすぐ近くの日本人の人が運営してると思われる「Aki Boulanger」へ。デザート代わりにメロンパンを買いました♪ここはあんぱんとかも売ってます。パンは初めて買ったけど、メロンパン、美味しかったです（＾＾）興奮して食べる前の写真は撮れず。。食べかけになってしまいました〜（＾＾ゞ

We stopped by at 「Aki Boulanger」after lunch. Got 'melon pan' (pain au melon?not sure if it says like this..) for dessert : D They have 'anpan' (red bean bread) and other Japanese kind of bread too. It was good : D I immediately started eating and forgot to take the photo before eating ; )

Restaurant: 「Jantchi Restaurant Coreen」

今日はジャパニーズエリアに来たのですが、韓国料理屋さんも結構あります。今日は寒いので気分はスンドゥブチゲ！で適当に韓国料理屋さんへ。「Jantchi Restaurant Coreen」に入りました。1回は既に満席に近く、私達は2階へ。私達が入った後どんどん混んで2階も満席状態でした。

肝心のお味は、悪くないけど、前に行ったお店の方が私好み。ここはちょっと甘めのスンドゥブチゲでした。私はもっと赤いくらいのが好みだなあ。旦那さまは石焼ビビンバ。タレにもうひと味欲しい感じ！

ちなみに写真見えづらいのですが、ナムルなどもセットで運ばれてきます。右から2番目のもやしのナムルだけがさっさと減り始めています。何故ならば・・こちらでは妊婦さんはもやしも禁止。（育つ環境が湿気が多く、菌が多くなるとか。。）でもちょっとくらい大丈夫だよ、とチョロチョロ食べる私が食べないよう旦那さまがまずお箸をつけてました（笑）。

We went to Japanese quarter today but they also have many Korean restaurants too. It was cold today so I wanted to eat tofu chige! So went in to the Korean restaurant we found. 「Jantchi Restaurant Coreen」. 1st floor was almost full and we went to 2nd floor. After we went up, 2nd floor became full quite quickly.

Regarding the taste, it's not bad but I liked the other place I went before. The tofu chige was not spicy enough for me. It can be more red! Hubby took bibmba. Wanted little more twist on the sauce!

BTW, it's difficult to see on the photo but they come with little small dishes. 2nd one from the right is bean sprout namul. Here in france, bean sprout are prohibited for pregnant women too. (I heard that it's raised in humid environment and they have more germs..) Though I tend to eat stuff thinking it's ok so my hubby already started eating so that I don't eat it. hahaha.

ひさしぶりのお花/Flower in a long while!?

暖炉の上に年賀状類をずっと飾っていたのですが、片付けてみたら暖炉の上が何だか寂しい。。久しぶりに何もないからなかあと思ってたら今日お花をもらって気がつきました（＾＾ゞ。いつもお花があったのね☆ピンクとオレンジがふんわり混ざった素敵なバラです。今日もありがとう〜♪

We had New Year's card on top of the fire place. I cleaned it and somehow thought cleaner, rather lonely than before. I was wondering why and realized after my hubby gave me flowers today : ) We always had flower there! It's a beautiful rose with orange and pink mixed very softly. Thank you always ; ))

フランス出産・病院事情/Child Bearing, Hospital Situation in France

今日は妊娠中の定期検診の日でした。こちらでは自分が住んでいる区の病院で産むことが多いようですが、私達が住む14区は特に病院が多いようで、私が行っている病院も徒歩10分、車なら3分くらいで行けるところにあります。こちらの病院は評判も良く人気が高い模様。偶然友達の友達で、ここで出産した日本人の方と話す機会があったのですが、その方もとても良い病院だったと言ってました。

ただ、良い病院の予約が取れないのは日本と同じような状況のよう。私達は旦那さまのお友達が病院で勤務していたため、お友達に取ってもらうことが出来ましたが、通常であれば予約の電話もつながらないくらいだそうで。ラッキーでした。

築150年の病院、といったところがフランスでは珍しくないようですが、この病院は比較的新しくて綺麗。最初はどんな古い施設のところに（＞＜）と不安だったのですが、初めて行った時に安心したのを覚えています（笑）。

病院の人が皆親切なのも安心。ただ、基本フランス語なので旦那さまがいつも付いて来てくれます。自分で話せるようになったらきっともっと安心。がんばろう。

Today, I had a regular prenatal checkup. Seems that people give birth at hospitals in the district they live. Luckily, 14th district is a district with many hospital and the hospital I'm going is 10 mins by walk or 3 mins by car. Very close : ) This hospital has very good reputation and I had a chance to talk to one Japanese person (friend of mine) who gave birth at this hospital and she told me it was very good too.

Though the situation of booking good hospitals seems to be the same in Japan. It's very crowded and difficult. Fortunately my hubby had a friend who works at this hospital and she booked the place for us! It's said to be difficult to even connect the reservation call so we were very fortunate ; ))

Hospitals more than 150 years old seems not unusual in France but this hospital is pretty new and clean : D I was nervous to be in an old hospital but I remember feeling relieved when I first came to the hospital.

All staff in the hospital are really nice. Though it's basically in French so my hubby comes with me all the time. I should be more relieved if I can speak myself. Hope I can improve soon!

Restaurant: 「Le Severo」

今日は日本人のお友達とご飯。２人で日本語だけの会話になりそうだったので、今日は旦那さまにはお留守番してもらいました。それでも車で送り迎えしてくれた旦那さまを見て私の友達は驚愕してました。お留守番なのに送り迎えまで！？と（＾＾；）。。優しいのです（笑）。

グルメのお友達が選んだのは「Le Severo」、お肉が売りのよう。ただ妊婦の私は焼き加減はウェルダンです。私を見て、お店の人が焼き過ぎるとお肉は固くなって美味しくないから、とハンバーグを勧めてくれました。もうちょっとの我慢ね〜（＾＾ゞ

前菜もフォアグラやパテが多いのですが、慎重派のうちの旦那さまはこれらも避けて欲しいということなのでポワロ葱のマリネ頂きました。柔らかくて美味しかったです。

デザートのプリンも自家製な感じ。素朴で美味しかったです（＾＾）

I went out for dinner with my Japanese friend today. I assumed it's going to be Japanese day, so I asked my hubby to stay home. Though my hubby still drove me and picked me up to the restaurant ; ) My friend was impressed.. Thank you hubby!!

My gourmet friend chose a restaurant with good meat. 「Le Severo」.Though I have to cook well done since I'm pregnant. Restaurant staff advised that most of them would be too hard if it's well done so they recommended hamburger for me ; ) Few more months to got!

Most of the appetizer included foie gras or pate. My hubby is very cautious so he asks me to avoid these too.. so I ordered marinated poireau. It was soft and good.

Pudding I took for dessert was simple and good too : )

オートリーブ/Autolib

フランスではVelibという貸し自転車システムがあります。自動車の渋滞による公害対策でパリ市が導入しました。至る所に設置場所があって、どのステーションからも乗れてどこでも乗り捨てられます。2007年から始まったらしいのですが、今やどこにでもステーションがあって、かなり利用者多数。人気の時間帯、場所などの問題もあるので、ステーションに空きがなくて停められなくて別のステーションを探さなくてはいけない、ということもありますが、全体的には成功してるようです。ちなみに残っている、空いてる場所を探すためのiphoneアプリケーションなんかもあります。

この成功に続けと、今度は貸し自動車システム'Autolib'の導入をしようとしています。少しずつ一般の人にも利用が出来るようになったのが先月くらいから。車は電気自動車です。まだそんなにステーションは多くないみたいですが、幸い我が家のすぐ近くにステーションが。そういったものについて調べるのが早い旦那さまは早速仕事で活用しています☆これからどのくらい利用出来るのか、されるのか、楽しみです。

There is a system called 'Velib' in France. It's rent cycle. Paris city started as population control coming from traffic jam. You can pick-up, drop-off at any station. It started in 2007 but they have stations everywhere now so many people are using this. Due to busy time and place issue, sometimes people have problem finding places to drop since the station is full, though generally, it's successful. There is iphone application to find places to pick-up and park too.

Following this system, they started 'Autolib' which is rent car system. It started around last month for anybody to be able to use it. Cars are electric car. I think they are going to increase the station gradually but luckily we have station very close to our place. Hubby is very good in checking these things so he's utilizing the system already : ) I'm looking forward to see how much this system will expand.

賞味期限/Expiration Date

今日は、賞味期限ぎりぎりのお漬け物と賞味期限ちょっと切れてた（＾＾；）おかずラー油に気付いてそれを開けてチャーハンを作ったのですが、旦那さまは妊娠している私の食べる物にとっても敏感。。なので黙って使っちゃいました（笑）。ラー油は大丈夫でしょ！と思って。おかげでお漬け物も無駄にしないで済んだし〜、、ラー油はもうちょっといけると思うけどな〜・・と思いつつ、旦那さまの心配を考慮してほどほどにします。。

「これ美味しいね〜」と喜んで食べた後にネタばらししましたが、お漬け物は賞味期限前だし開けたの最近だから大丈夫よー、というのと、ラー油は今日開けたんだよーと言って納得してもらいましたが、お願いだから大事にしてね。という旦那さまの心配をもうちょっと尊重したいと思います（＾＾ゞ

I made fried rice with Japanese pickles which was close to expiration date and chili oil which was actually after expiration date.. (It was new..) My hubby is very sensitive on what I eat since I'm pregnant. So I used it without telling him ; p I was happy that I didn't waste the pickles : p I think the chili oil should be ok a little more.. 

I told him after he ate it telling me 'This is so good!', adding that the pickles were opened recently and the chili oil was opened today. Though I will respect my hubby's worries too ; D

ちょっとチャーハンの見栄え悪くて・・でも味はおいしかったです〜☆

Fried rice doesn't look that good but it tasted good...!

公園の白鳥/Swan in the Park

我が家から徒歩２分くらいのところにモンスリー公園があります。近いし、中は結構広くてお散歩に最適☆と言いながらあまり行ってないけど。。今日は久々に池の周りを歩いてみました。白鳥さんがこんな近くに（＾＾）

We have a park very close to our place. It's close and inside is pretty nice so it's great for a walk. Although I don't go often.. I went to walk around the lake today. I can see the swan this close : )

観光お食事２日目/Tourist Meal 2nd Day

アナリストは午後の電車でロッテルダムに向かってしまうので、ゆっくりブランチをして今日は終了。前も書きましたが、ブランチっていうかランチの時間。今気がついたけど、朝食食べないで昼食も一緒に、ってことでブランチかな。時間関係ないのかな。

ブランチはパリで大人気のアメリカンレストラン「Coffee Parisien」へ。（パリ観光なのに！？という突っ込みはさておき・・）こっちの日曜日のランチ時間にしては早かったのですが既に行列！旦那さまが並んでてくれるとのことで、待ち時間の間、アナリストと２人で近くのサン・シュルピス教会を見に行きました。ヨーロッパの建造物はいつも荘厳。ちょっと観光的なこと出来ました☆（外観の写真はwikiから拝借。）

Analyst was leaving for Rotterdam in the afternoon so we did slow brunch today. I thought about it now but maybe brunch means not having breakfast and eat it together at lunch and time doesn't matter.

We went to an American restaurant 「Coffee Parisien」for brunch. (Yes, it's Paris tour!) It was early for Sunday lunch time but already had long line. Hubby said he will be on line so we went to see Saint-Sulpice church close by. Historical building in Europe are always magnificent. Did a little bit touristic thing! アメリカンブレックファーストは朝食欲をかき立てられます！私はエッグベネディクト、アナリストはホットサンド、旦那さまはハンバーガー。諦めきれないブルーベリーパンケーキは３人でシェア♪飲み物はミルクシェーキ！デザートも捨てられず、チーズケーキまで食べました（笑）。

I love American breakfast : D I took egg benedict, analyst tool hot sandwich, my hubby took hamburger. I couldn't give up blueberry pancake so we shared it. Had milk shake for drink! Couldn't give up dessert either and ordered cheese cake too. haha.

お食事系集合！1日目/Food Related！1st Day

前回に引き続きアナリストと観光の内のお食事系です。ちょうどマルシェがやってる曜日だったのでマルシェへ。私より遥かに英語で積極的に話すアナリスト。見習わなくてはいけません・・。出来ればフランス語で。。

Food related with the analyst : ) We started with marche. He was talking to people in English with no hesitation. I have to learn from him.. Hopefully in French in the future..

ランチは私の旦那さまが強引にフレンチらしいプレートにしたら！とハムとチーズの盛り合わせをオーダーされてました（＾＾ゞ。私は子羊を頂きました。お店の名前忘れちゃいました。。

Forgot the name of the restaurant but my hubby strongly recommended a very 'French' plate full of ham and cheese ; ) I had veal plate.

お菓子大好き☆でチョコ関係のところは色々寄る！写真は日本でも有名？Pierre HermeとLadureeです♪その他 Gerardo MurotやLa Maison du Chocolatなんかも寄りました！

He loves sweets : D We stopped at many chocolate places such as Gerardo Murot and La Maison du Chocolat. Photos are from Pierre Herme and Laduree which are famous in Japan too. (I think..)

夜ご飯は最近評判なのかな。「KONG」というレストランへ。すごーく混んでました。予約してたのですが、予約した時間にいなければ次の人いれます〜とのこと。。帰る頃には満席、行列でした。ビルの最上階で、天井、壁がガラスなのでぐるっとパリが見れます。セーヌ川なんかも見れてロマンチック。でも内装がすごい現代的？不思議な雰囲気。。でもお食事美味しかったです。予想外に（笑）！？味噌とか結構和風な食材なんかも使ってました。私は前菜に海老と蟹のラビオリ、メインにタラの味噌焼き頼んでみたのですが美味しかったです♪

For dinner, we went to 「KONG」. Seems it's very popular now. It was very crowded. We reserved a table but they said if we are not there on time, they will skip us.. By the time we left, it was full and people were on line. It's on the top floor of the building and the ceiling and walls are made of glass so you can see Paris. You can also see Seine and very romantic. Though the interior was very modern and mysterious.. Unexpectedly!? food was good = ) They were using Japanese ingredients too like miso. I ordered prawn and crab ravioli for appetizer and miso marinated black cod for main dish. It was good : )

デザートは外のアイスクリーム屋さん「Amorino』で！美味しい〜♪何種類でも乗せてくれるし（＾＾）今回はマンゴー、マロングラッセ、チョコレート〜♡満足（*＾＾*）

We had dessert outside at an ice cream shop 「Amorino』. Very good = ) They can add many kinds as you want. I had mango, marron glace and chocolate this time. Happy : D

小売アナリストとお買い物！/Shopping with Retailing Analyst！

今週末はまた前の会社のアナリストの方がヨーロッパ出張前にパリに寄ってくれました〜☆お買い物、食べ物系、という要望にお応えして、コースを組みました！もちろん旦那さま考案・作成（＾＾ゞ。私はまたフランスについて新たに学ぶことばかりでした〜。

車で40分程、ディズニーランドの近くにあるアウトレット「Val d'Europe」へ！セール時期も重なって安〜い♪見たくなかった気もするけど・・日本で買った長靴、、、10分の1以下の値段って。。二つもいらないけどあまりに安いので二つ目の長靴を買っちゃいました。20ユーロ強なり〜。

Analyst from my previous company visited Paris before his Europe business trip! He wanted shopping, gourmet course so hubby came up with another wonderful tour course ; )) Thank you!! I learned new things about France again : D

First went to an outlet 「Val d'Europe」! It's about 40mins drive from Paris. Close to Disney Land. Since it was also sales season, it was very cheap! Maybe I didn't want to see... but the rain boots I bought in Japan was less than 1/10... I know I don't have to have two but I had to get it since it was too cheap! Little more than 20 euro : D

旦那さまは基本いつも同じブランドで買いますが、それらも安くゲット〜。靴はいつもの4割引♪もっと安かったかも。（写真についでに写ってるのは旦那さまお気に入りの５本指ソックス！日本のお友達にお願いして今回アナリストと一緒に運んでもらいました　笑）

My hubby has specific brand he uses but we got that cheap too : D Shoes was 40% off or even more. (The socks you can see on the photo is 5 finger socks which my hubby loves: ) I asked my friend and it was delivered with the analyst!)

その他私達のホットショップはホームグッズ系！お皿をVilleroy&Bochでゲット！さすが小売アナリスト！？ネットで早速日本での値段を調べてました（笑）。1枚3,675円の前菜皿が7.4ユーロ！大量に買いそうになりましたが、、ここは主婦らしく！？最低限で我慢我慢。その他セラミックナイフとかもゲットしてました〜☆お鍋とかのメーカーにも詳しい彼は、終始「日本ではこんな値段じゃ買えない〜」と言っておりました。私より全然キッチン用品詳しかったです（笑）。

アウトレットの後はパリの中心に戻り、小売アナリストのカバーする無印やユニクロにも☆というか、無印・・日本と全然違う。。日本の無印を知ってるだけにすごーく残念。。でも黒字だそうで。。だからこれでもいいのかもしれないけど、、けど！！もっといいものあるのに〜（＞＜）本家無印はもっと良い物あるよ〜、とフランスの皆さんにも知って欲しいと思いました（涙）。

We also loved home goods shops too. We both got plates at Villeroy&Boch. He was checking the price in Japan and it was 3,675yen which we got in 7.4 euro! I wanted to get lots! but made myself calm and got minimum. He also got ceramic knives. He was very familiar with kitchen stuff (much more than me!) and kept saying 'can't get at this price in Japan!'.

After outlet, we went back to center of Paris and went to MUJI and UNIQLO. I was sad to see MUJI ; (( It was so different from Japan. Quality is really bad.. He told me their P/L is still in the black. Though there is much better stuff in Japan MUJI!! I hope people in France get to know them.. ; (

ユニクロは製品は全世界共通なので物は同じ。値段も大体同じ。これは会社の方針。5本指ソックスはフランスでは売ってないけど、大体のものは同じ感じかな〜。ちなみにユニクロはパリで大人気。大混雑でした！暑かった〜（＠＠）

人気小売アナリストと無印とユニクロに一緒に行けるってなかなかない素敵な機会でした〜（＾＾）

UNIQLO has same quality all over the world. Price is about the same too. It's the policy of the company I think. They don't sell 5 finger socks.. but a lot of it were the same as Japan. UNIQLO in Paris is very popular. It was really crowded and hot!

It was an honor to visit these places with very popular Retailing analyst : ))

Restaurant: 「Stella Maris」

昨日に続きレストランを探せとお達しが・・。今度はフレンチ。しかし、時は金曜。有名、美味しいどころは皆いっぱいです。友達に教えてもらった日本人シェフのフレンチもいっぱい。旦那さまも色々電話したけどいっぱい。義父が空いてるところを見つけてくれました（＞＜）ありがとうございます！！予約したのは「Stella Maris」。

到着したグルメ父は「ここは来たことある。」と、、でもだいぶ前らしく、その時は美味しかったとのこと。ここは日本の銀座や芝などにも「タテルヨシノ」としてお店がいくつかあるようです。前菜＋メイン二つ（お魚＆お肉）＋デザートコースを注文。

Dad told us to find a French restaurant today. Though it's Friday. Most good restaurants are full! Restaurant with Japanese chef which my friend told me was full. My hubby called many places but they were all full. Father in law found a place for us ; 0 Thank you so much!! We booked 「Stella Maris」.

Actually, we found out that dad already been there before.. though it was long time ago and said it was good at that time. This place also has few restaurants in Japan as 「Tateru Yoshino」 around ginza, Shiba etc.. We ordered course with appetizer + 2 main dishes (fish and meat) + dessert.

前菜前の帆立、美味しかったです（＾＾）（帆立は半生で出てくることが多いので、旦那さまは妊婦の私が食べるのを嫌がるのですが、美味しそうなので食べちゃいました　笑）帆立の前はビートのゼリー固めかな？

We had scallop for a plate before appetizer. Scallop tends to be half raw so my hubby doesn't like me to eat it but it looked good so I ate it : p Before scallop, I think it was plate made with beet.

私は前菜にお野菜と海老の盛り合わせ。父と旦那さまはマグロと茄子のミルフィーユ。私のはとても美味しかったのですが、父のはまあまあだったとのこと。

（まぐろが生なので妊婦は味見出来ず。。）

I had vegetable and shrimp which was really good. Dad and hubby had tuna and eggplant mille-feuille. Dad said so-so. (Couldn't taste it since tuna was raw.)

お魚の写真撮るの忘れちゃいました。私には美味しかったですが、父は前の方がもっと美味しかったとのことでした。お肉は私は小鴨、父と旦那さまはビーフを。お肉は実はいまいちでした。ちょっと臭みが気になりました。ビーフもいまいちだったみたい。

I forgot to take photo of poisson plate. It was good for me but according to dad, it was better before.. I had duck and they had beef. Meat dish was actually not that great..

デザートはモンブランを☆（これのためにこのコースにした！）モンブラン好きとしては、まあまあ。味は良いのですが、食感的に舌触りがちょっと軽過ぎるさくさくした丸いのはいらないので  、スポンジがビスケットくらいの食感のものが多いのが好み。

でも美味しく頂きました♪旦那さまはチョコレートケーキ。美味しかったです。

I took mont-blanc for dessert. (This is why I took this course!) I love mont-blanc : ) It tasted good but for texture, I like it better if they replace the round light stuff with heavier texture stuff like sponge or biscuit. Though I enjoyed it very much : D Hubby took chocolate cake. It was good too = ))
