ゴッドファーザーとご対面/Meet God Father

フランスではゴッドファーザーやゴッドマザーを産まれた子供に付ける人もいます。日本語で言うと代父母？子供の親に何かあった時には親代わりとなる、と言うととても真面目なもの。何もないことを祈りつつ、普段はお誕生日やクリスマスにプレゼントをあげたり、また親以外の人で相談出来るような存在、というものだそうです。

我が子にはロンドン在住の旦那さまのお友達にゴッドファーザーになってもらいました。彼自身も最近子供が産まれて大忙しなのですが、パリに日帰り出張に来た時に合間を見つけてGod  daughterに会いに来てくれました☆短い時間でしたが、会ってもらって良かった（＾＾）。会えて喜んでくれました♪

Some people in France assign god father or god mother to their children. If something happens to the children's parents, they will be responsible. Sounds serious but hoping nothing like that will happen, usually, god fathers and mothers give presents for birthday and Christmas or become someone to talk to besides children's parents. 

We asked hubby's good friend in London to become god father for our bebe. His wife recently gave birth too and he is very busy but he found some time during his one day business trip to Paris and came to see his god daughter ; )) It was a short time but we were happy she was able to meet her god father ; D
