無事出産！/Welcome our Baby！

２０１２年４月３０日、無事に女の子を出産することが出来ました（*^^*）

お天気のよかったこの日、モンソリー公園の中を歩いて病院へ。この爽やかな表情が陣痛開始後一変・・、最後は緊急帝王切開にて出産。4230gで産まれた我が家のジャンボお姫ちゃん。ようやく会えたことに感動。幸せ。無事に産まれて来てくれてありがとう。

2012 April 30th, I safely gave birth to a baby girl.

The weather was beautiful this day. We walked through Montsouris park to go to the hospital. I look so relaxed but this face changes after the contraction began... at the end, she was born by emergency cesarean delivery. She was a jumbo princess born with 4230g! I had no words coming out but it was the most pleasant moment to finally able to see my daughter. I was so happy ; ))) Thank you for coming out safely to see us my baby girl ; ))

ロコモコどーん！/Loco Moco-don

これからしばらくないであろう夫婦２人のゆっくり週末。お家でぼんよりマンガなんぞ読んでたら、ロコモコ丼がお話に出て来た。妙に食べたくなって、今日はロコモコ丼を作ってみました〜（＾＾）。なかなか美味しかった〜♪食べる前はレタスいらないかな〜と思ってたけど、あって正解☆ご飯とハンバーグと目玉焼きとグレイビーソースとレタスとトマトとチーズが我ながら良いバランスで出来た〜（*^^*）。満足♪

Probably last quiet weekend for a while with just me and my hubby. I was relaxing, reading manga then locomoco-don (rice dish with meat and gravy sauce etc..) came up. I felt like eating it a lot so decided to make locomoco -don today : D I thought maybe we don't need lettuce but it was better with lettuce I think! Balance of rice, meat, gravy sauce, fried egg, lettuce, tomato and cheese were really good! Happy : )

ノートの罫線の違い/Ruled Notebook Difference

色々な記録のためのノートが欲しくて文房具屋さんへ。前から薄々気がついてはいたんだけど、フランスのノートって横の罫線だけというのが極端に少ない。縦横両方入ってるか、方眼紙なみに細かい横線とある程度の縦線が入ってるもの。学校ではこの方眼紙みたいなのが普通だったと旦那さまが言っています。

横線だけのが１冊あったけど、値段が何故か他の倍以上（＠＠）。背に腹はかえられない、ってほどのことでもないので、縦横両方線が入ってるのを買いました。フランス語学校でもこれを使ってたので、使い始めれば気にならないのは分かってるけど、どうしてもまだ愛着が湧きませぬ・・。

I went to stationary shop to get a notebook. I kind of realized from before but there are not many notebooks that only has horizontal line. It either has both horizontal and vertical line or with really detailed horizontal grid and few vertical grid. Hubby said this detailed ones were normally used at school.

There was one notebook with just horizontal line but the price was more than double! It's no big deal so I bought the one with both horizontal and vertical lines. I was using it a French school too so I know I will eventually not care about it but I just can't feel love to the notebook yet ; )

ホワイトアスパラガス/White Asparagus

フランスの春のお野菜の風物詩とも言えるのがホワイトアスパラガス。4月に入るとどんどん出て来るのかな。料理してみたことないけど、せっかくなのでマルシェで少し買ってみました。買ったはいいものの、はて、どうやって料理するのだろう？ととりあえずインターネット活用。

日本では缶詰とかでしか見たことない気がするけど、こちらでは生です。茎の部分は固いので切り落として、本体？はピーラーで剥きました。そのままだと固い！お鍋にひたひたになるくらいにお水を入れてお塩を少々加えて蓋をして茹でる。沸騰してから15分ちょっとくらい煮たかな。

昨年旦那さまの実家で食べた時はもっとシンプルにバターだけとかで煮たあとそのまま食べた気がするけど、自信がなかったので、今日はハニーマスタードソース作って一緒に食べてみました。なかなか美味しい（*^^*）

初めてにしては上出来☆でも今度プロのお義母さんに食べ方聞いてみよーっと。

White asparagus is like one of representative of spring vegetable in France. In April, fresh white asparagus line up at marche. I never cooked it before but decided to try. I looked up some recipe on internet a little bit.

I remember seeing a lot of canned white asparagus in Japan but it's fresh one in France. Cut the stem a little and peal the surface. Unless, I think it's too hard to eat. Boil it with little salt for little more than 15mins. 

When I had it at my hubby's parent's place last year, I think it was more simple but I wasn't sure so today I decided to make and eat it with honey mustard sauce. It was pretty good : )

As a first time, I guess it was good but I think it would be good for me to ask the 'professional', my mother in law! how to eat them next time : )

妊婦の針治療/Acupuncture for Pregnant Women

こちらでは妊婦さんの針治療も保険でカバーされます。旦那さまのお友達の助産師さんが担当。日本で首が動かなくなってしまった時に受けた針治療はかなり本格的で、体もぽかぽかしてくるし、ぐりぐり針を動かされると内臓までもドワーっと動くような感覚がありました。おかげで動くようになったけどすごい技術だったと思います。

この針治療はそこまでぐりぐりやらないので、ちょっとツボ押し、くらいの感覚かな。なので実際針治療がどこまで効いてるか正直分からないのですが（＾＾；）、針を刺して待っている間、彼女に初出産についてちょこちょこ質問出来たりお話出来たりする時間が私には貴重でした。

今日で４回目、そして最後の予定！今までは足の付け根の痛みとか、夜なかなか寝られないなどのツボでしたが今日は背中の痛みを重点的に（＞＜）。寝る時に昨日ほど痛くなかったので結構効いたのかな？

しかし、写真見るとやっぱり手足浮腫んでる〜（＠＠）。出産後いつ頃直るのかなあ。

Here in France, acupuncture for pregnant women is also covered with social security. My hubby's friend's midwife is in charge of my acupuncture. When my neck got really bad and didn't move in Japan little while ago, I went to acupuncture. It was quite serious one and once the acupuncturist move the needle, my internal organs felt like it's moving so much. My neck did get better ; )

The acupuncture at the hospital is not that hard and it's like pressing some points. So not sure how much it worked to be honest but it was a precious time for me since I was able to ask questions and talk to my hubby's friend about first childbearing.

It was 4th time today and should be the last! Till today, the point was focused to heal my pain at the base of the legs or sleeping problem, but today, she worked on my back pain ; ) It didn't hurt as much when I was going to sleep so maybe it worked ; D

 I can see how much my feet and hands are puffy from the photos! I hope it gets better soon ; )

再び「L'EPI DUPIN」へ！/「L'EPI DUPIN」 Again！

義理の両親が出産前にもう一度ご飯行きましょう〜と誘ってくれて、我々お気に入りの「L'EPI DUPIN」へ再び♪今日もメニューは日本語で説明してもらいました（＾＾）。

しかも今日は前菜一品サービスしてもらった模様☆ラッキー！ミニスープで始まり、お野菜メインの前菜を頂き、豚の血に火を通したもの（ブダンと言うらしい）をラビオリに包んだ前菜を頂きました。ソースも美味☆

We went for dinner with my parents in law today before our bebe comes out : ) We went to 「L'EPI DUPIN」, one of our favorite! They explained the menu in Japanese for me today too = )

 I think we had one additional appetizer as a service. Lucky us! Started with mini soup as usual and appetizer with vegetable. I ordered ravioli with boudin (blood sausage) inside. Sauce was good too : )

私はメインは鯖とお野菜のお皿。肉食な私はお肉を頼むことが多いけど、妊婦さんはウェルダンになるので今日のお魚は正解！お野菜も甘くてとても美味しかった（*^^*）

I took mackerel and vegetable dish. I order meat most of the time but since for pregnant women, it has to be well done, the dish I took today was good choice! Vegetables were sweet and good : D

デザートは一つに絞りきれずに旦那さまと半分こ。マンゴーとバナナとメレンゲのものと、梨の甘草ソース漬け？とアイスクリーム。これは美味しい♡特に梨のデザート、誤って全部食べそうになりました（笑）。

お母さんのお腹の中にいた方が美味しいものを食べられるからまだ出て来ないのかも〜、と言われる理由がよく分かる！？今日も美味しいご飯、ごちそうさまでした☆

I couldn't decide the dessert to one, so decided to share 2 desserts fifty-fifty with my hubby. One was mango and banana with meringue and the other was pear dipped in licorice sauce with vanilla ice cream. Both were really good! Especially the pear one, I almost finished it myself!

I was told that the baby is still in the tummy cause the baby knows I keep eating good food and she enjoys it too ; D I had a great dinner today too. gochisou-sama!

マクバゲット/McBaguette

マックは国によってメニューが少し変わってくるようですが、フランスならではの商品といえるものが期間限定で最近発売されました。その名も「マクバゲット」。バゲットサンドみたいな感じ。旦那さま曰く、フランスで最もポピュラーなランチはバゲットサンド。確かにお昼時、パン屋さんには行列が出来てたりする。逆に今まで何で販売がなかったんだろう〜。そういえばSubwayとかはバゲットサンド専門だけどフランスで人気なのかしら。今度聞いてみよ。

フランスは自国の農業、農産物を守る姿勢が非常に強いためか、この商品、フランス製のものを70％使い、残り30％もヨーロッパ製のものを使ってるとか。パンとチーズ、ファーストフード製品としてはなかなか美味しかったと思います。マスタードも良い感じ☆

ただすごいボリュームなので私は食べるのに１時間くらいかかったかも・・（＾＾；）。持ち帰りにしたので冷めてしまったのが残念。温かい内に食べた方がもっと美味しそうだったなあ。

I hear that McDonald menu differs little by country, but recently, new menu that I see as very 'French' came out. It's 'McBaguette'. It's like baguette sandwich. According to my hubby, the most popular lunch in France is baguette sandwich. I do see line in front of boulanger around lunch. I wonder why they didn't have it till now. Thinking about that, Subway is baguette sandwich place but I wonder how popular it is in France. Should ask my hubby.

France has a very strong attitude of protecting their agricultural product so 70% of this product is made by France product and rest of 30% is from other Europe. No wonder!? baguette and cheese tasted pretty good for fast food. Mustard was good too.

Though it's quite heavy (huge volume!) so it took like 1 hour for me to finish.. ; ) We did take away so was little cold which was sad. I think it would taste even better when it's warm!

移民局フランス語試験結果/Result of OFII French Exam

約一ヶ月前に受けた移民局のフランス語試験（詳細はこちら①、②）の結果発表がありました。無事合格！あ〜、良かった☆出産前に一つ安心が増えました（＾＾）

I got OFII French exam result. (Details -> ①、②) Successfully passed! I'm so happy ; ) Glad to get one additional relief before giving birth : )

映画館へ！/Go to Movie Theater

ここ数日何とか行こうとしていた映画鑑賞（＾＾；）、本日実現！自分がいる週末に産まれてね〜と常々お腹に話しかけて来た旦那さま。「まだ来ないと思うな〜」と言う私。日曜の夕方になって「来ないね・・」と諦めた模様！？の旦那さま。「映画行こうか」と。

前回映画に行った時に予告をやっていて私的にはつまらなそうと思ったのですが、役者が好きだから、ということで旦那さまがこれを見たい、ということで「幸せへのキセキ」を鑑賞。

結果として私はとても良い映画だと思いました。ファミリー回想シーンでは涙がボロボロ（；；）。ハッピーな気持ちで終われる映画で良かった☆フランスのテレビで上映する映画、何故かバイオレンスなものが多くて目を背けることも多いので、幸せな気持ちで終われるのはハッピー（*^^*）

We were trying to go to the movie theater these few days and we made it today! Hubby was talking to my tummy to come on weekend when he's with me. I didn't think it's happening yet. At early evening, he finally gave up!? and said 'let's go to the movie theater'.

I saw the movie preview before and thought it's not that interesting but hubby liked the actors so we decided to see 'We Bought a Zoo'. As a result, I liked the movie a lot : ) Couldn't stop crying at the scene of family flashback ; 0 Somehow, movie on TV in France is often quite violent and I have to look away from the TV screen thus I was happy to see a movie that I could finish with happy feeling ; )

りさこ in パリ！/Risako in Paris！

ロンドンに住む友達がパリに遊びに来たので一緒にラーメンを食べに行きました☆ロンドンでは美味しいラーメン屋さんが見つかってないとか。今日行ったところはいまいちだったので、、次回までにもっと美味しいところ探して紹介出来るといいなあ（＾＾）

ロンドンには見つかっていないDuranceというフレグランス屋さんに行きたいということで一緒にバスを乗り継いで行ってみました。パリジャンのはずの旦那さまも知らないお店でした（＾＾ゞ。（もちろん私は知りませんでした　笑）色々な香りがあって楽しそう〜と思ったら背中が・・・痛い。。立ってるのもままならず、お店で座ってた私（；；）。アイスクリーム食べようと思ってたのですが、断念してタクシーで家路につきました。。

りさこごめんよ〜（＞＜）。でもロンドンとパリは遠くない！また近々会えることを祈って〜。

My friend who lives in London visited Paris and we went to eat ramen : ) She said she can't find good ramen in London. Though the place we went today was not that good ; ) so hope I can find a place we can go next time she visits!

She wanted to go to Durance, a fragrance place that she can't find in London. So we went there by bus. Somehow Parisian hubby didn't know the shop either! (Don't ask if I knew or not.. Of course not..)  There were many fragrance and I was about to enjoy! then my back started to hurt... I had to sit at the shop... We were planning to eat ice cream but I gave that up and had to go home by taxi ; 0

Sorry Risako ; ( but London and Paris is not far! Hope to see you soon!!

背中に激痛・・/Pain in the Back...

昨日夕飯を作る前からちょっと痛いかも、と思っていた背中の左下がどんどん痛くなる。茹でていたブロッコリーといんげんをあげて、にんにくみじん切りがあとちょっとで完了、というところでもう無理！とかろうじてにんにく臭い手を洗ってベッドに倒れ込む。。

痛いのに、、どうしてもお腹がすいてたので・・帰って来た旦那さまに料理指示を出しながら残りの過程をお願いしました（＾＾；）。途中まで後ろで座りながら説明してたけど、痛すぎて最後は「お醤油とお酒あと大１ずつくらい入れて適当に炒めればいいから(@@)」とまたベッドへ。でも美味しく作ってくれました☆ありがとう（＞＜）

そして今日は起きてからずっと休んでいたので、夕方頃、痛くないし大丈夫そう！と結構思いっきりお家のお掃除をしたら再び激痛。。反省。。旦那さまから「今日映画デートする？」とせっかくメールが入った頃にはベッドの中。。あ〜、出産前最後かもしれない映画デートが〜（；；）

My left lower back started hurting before I started cooking dinner yesterday. It got worse while I was cooking. After boiling broccoli and beans, and almost finishing cutting the garlic, I couldn't stand anymore and had to collapse in bed..

I was in terrible pain but was also so hungry... so asked rest of the cooking to my hubby. Tried giving instruction from the back on the chair but couldn't even sit on the chair and told him 'just put soy sauce and sake 1 big spoon each and cook little and it's ok!' and was on bed again.. but it was good. Thank you hubby ; D

Then today, I was resting all day and my back seemed ok so around early evening I started cleaning the house which made me go back to pain again... Again in bed then got an email from my hubby asking for movie date ; 0 It could have been our last movie date before giving birth ; 0 Have to take care of my self little more I guess..

でも今日は早めに大事を取ったので！？かろうじて近所にご飯行けました（＾＾ゞ

寝る頃また痛みとの戦いが待ってたけど。。

Though I rested early enough today I think so we were able to eat at the neighbor ; )

It started hurting again before going to bed though...

八重桜/Cherry Blossom-Yaezakura

パリでは八重桜は沢山見かけます。ソメイヨシノはないけど。（関連ブログ）ボリュームあるピンクのお花が付く八重桜、とてもかわいい（*^^*）

3月の方が暖かくてぱーっと咲いたので、既に散っている木も沢山見かけるけど、今日の公園の八重桜はまだボリューム感たっぷりで綺麗♪

しかし、3月暖かかったのに4月に入ってから最高気温11℃とか12℃のパリ。。そろそろ暖かくならないかなあ・・。

No Someiyoshino (related blog) but I see many Yaezakura (both are one kind of cherry blossom) in Paris.  They bloom puffy pink flowers and are really cute : )

It was warmer in March so it bloomed before and many trees don't have flowers anymore but the Yaezakura today at the park was still beautiful = )

It was warm in March but April has been cold again! Daily highs are like 11℃, 12℃. Hope it will get warm soon..

下腹部痛/Lower Abdominal Pain

昨日から下腹部が結構ずっと痛い。たまに痛いのは今までもあったけど。今日は病院で針があったので旦那さまのお友達の助産師さんに聞いてみたら、ベベちゃん下がって来てる感じするんじゃない？と。うん、ちょっとする、と言ったら、良い傾向よ〜と教えてくれました。それは聞いて安心（＾＾）

今週は雨の予報だったけど、今日はお天気だったので病院にも徒歩で行ってみた。すると帰りは帰ってる途中に旦那さまが「迎えに来れたよ！」と電話が。既に病院出たけど（＾＾；）。でもせっかく来てくれたのでちょっと戻って短い夫婦ドライブ〜♪社員のオープンカーを借りて来てくれたので、短い時間だったけど気持ち良かった〜☆

I keep having the lower abdominal pain from yesterday. I had pain sometimes but not this long. I had acupuncture at the hospital today so asked my hubby's friend who work as midwife there. She asked if I feel like the baby is coming down. I said yes, little. Then she said it's good tendency. Glad I asked ; )

It was supposed to rain the whole week but it was sunny today so I walked to the hospital today. On my way back, hubby called to tell me that he was able to come pick me up. I was on my way back already.. but I went back little bit and enjoyed short drive with him = ) He borrowed his employee's convertible car so it was short but a really nice drive : D

抹茶マドレーヌ/Matcha Madeleine

週末に行ったお茶屋さん（詳細こちら）、マルシェの目の前なのよね。言い訳だけど。。マルシェの帰り、誘惑に勝てずに抹茶マドレーヌ買ってしまった。。ホワイトチョコレートがコーティングされてて美味しいの♪中に黒っぽいものが。まさかあんこ！？と思ったらベリー系ゼリーでした☆これはあんこより合うと思うなあ〜（*^^*）

Tea place we went on Saturday (detail) is right in front of the marche. Yes, it's an excuse but couldn't resist and bought matcha madeleine ; D It's coated by white chocolate and was very good : )) Something black was inside and I first thought it's anko (Japanese bean paste) but it was berry jelly. I think it matches better!

ちゃんと！？少しずつ食べます！

スリッパ/Slippers

日本はお家の中で靴を脱ぐけど、欧米はお家の中も靴を履いているのがどちらかというと普通。移住した時からこの習慣には慣れずに、私はお家で飛行機でもらってきたスリッパを履いたり、父が泊まった時にもらってきたリッツのスリッパを履いたりしてました。

他の人は靴で入るからスリッパも汚れやすいし、気兼ねなく履き潰せるスリッパで良かったのですが、ちょっと自分用にかわいいのも欲しくなって購入☆満足なお買い物でハッピー♪

来るベベちゃんのためにも次はお家から靴を完全排除するために、お客様用スリッパ用意したいなあ。でもこっち、習慣の違いからかあまりスリッパないっぽいのよねえ。。

In Japan, we take off our shoes at home. They usually don't take it off in western countries. I couldn't get used to this habit since I arrived so I always used slippers. Sometimes slippers from airplane, sometimes from hotel Ritz when my dad came to Paris.

Since other people come in by shoes, slippers got dirty easily so it was ok to use such slippers. Though I started to think I want something cuter and I found one! It was a good shopping : D

For our coming baby, I think I should try to get rid of shoes completely from our house! and for that, I should get slippers for visitors too. Though maybe because of cultural difference, I can't find good slippers so far in Paris..

あんこ永眠/Anko at Rest..

今日は日本から悲し過ぎるお知らせが届きました。日本の実家で飼っている愛猫、あんこちゃんが永眠。19歳だからとっても長生き。でも悲しい。近くにいれなかったことも悲しい。もう一度会えなかったことも悲しい。異国の地にいる、ということはこういうことでもあるのだけど・・。でもがんばって長生きしてくれたなあ（涙）。

姉が20年前に捨てられていた5匹の猫達を拾って来て、2匹は貰い手が見つかり、3匹は我が家に残ることに。ごまちゃんときなこちゃんは既に亡くなったけど、あんこはごまときなの分もすごーくがんばって長生きしてくれて、いつも皆を癒してくれて、皆の宝物でした。あ〜、書きながら涙が止まらん・・。
素敵な時間をありがとう。天国でごまときなとポッキーと楽しく遊んでいますように。

Today, I got a very sad message from Japan. Our cat in Japan passed away. She lived for 19 years so she lived very long. Though it's so sad. It's sad I'm not close to her now. It's sad that I couldn't see her again. Living in other country is sometime very tough.. Though I really appreciate that she lived long.

My sister picked up 5 abandoned kittens 20 years ago. 2 were given to other people and 3 were kept with us. Goma and Kinako passed away little while ago but Anko lived very long like living for the other two. She always made us happy and she was our treasure. Can't stop tearing... Thank you so much for the wonderful time and hope she is having fun with Goma, Kinako and Pocky now.

パリで歌舞伎衣装展へ/KABUKI Costume Exhibition in Paris

朝ご飯から盛り沢山だった昨日は旦那さま念願の歌舞伎衣装展覧会へも。展示部屋は３つしかなくて小さなものだったけど、とっても近くで見られるので結構堪能出来る☆ビデオも各部屋で上映しているので椅子に座って結構長い間見てました。日本で見たことのある演目なんかも出て来て、旦那さまに説明しながら日本に行った時に一緒に見たいねーと（＾＾）

写真撮っちゃだめ、と言われたので撮れなかったのですが、残念だなーと思ってたら横で中国人の女の子がビデオ撮影してた・・。写真撮れなかったけどネット上の記事に衣装載ってました♪

We did a lot yesterday starting from breakfast. In the afternoon, we went to see KABUKI costume exhibition which hubby wanted to go so much. They only had 3 exhibition rooms and wasn't big but you can see it very close so it was very enjoyable. They also play video in each room. We saw it sitting down for quite long. There were performances that I saw in Japan too and explained to my hubby. Hope we can go see when we go to Japan together.

Restaurant: 「TEA The Tcha」

自宅から徒歩3分くらいのところに素敵なお茶屋さんがあって、旦那さまと行きたいねーとずっと言い続けて今日ようやく実現☆朝ご飯をゆっくり♪「TEA The Tcha」というところ。お茶は色々な国からのものがある。日本のお茶も。

お店は綺麗で落ち着くので良い感じ〜。お茶も美味しい〜。オーナーがパンやお菓子とかも全部一人で作っているそう。昔はレストランをやっていたそうだけど、一人で全部切り盛り出来るこのお店を作ったそう。今度はお菓子を買いに来よう〜っと（*^^*）

そして何よりも驚いたのは、ポットや食器も売ってるのだけど、我が家にあったご飯茶碗と同じものが！！母の好きな陶器屋さんの物で、まさかこんなところで出会うとは！驚愕！

There is a tea place 「TEA The Tcha」 close to our house where me and my hubby always wanted to go. We finally went there! We had nice relaxing breakfast : ) They have tea from all over the world. They have Japanese tea too.

The shop is clean and relaxing and was very nice. Tea was very good too. The owner said he makes bread and gateau all by himself. He used to run a restaurant but he decided to open this place where he can take care of everything. I want to come and buy gateau next time : D

The most surprising thing was that they had the same rice bowl I brought from Japan! It's made by the potter that mom likes a lot. It was amazing to meet such thing this close and in Paris!!

まだかなり明るい☆夏は22時とかまで明るいとか。

It's still quite bright! In summer, seems like it's bright till 22pm!

血糖値について今まで色々書いてましたが、そもそも妊娠糖尿病について私の認識が根本から間違ってたことが判明してショックを受けた今日。。私はただ普段より糖質の取り過ぎなんだと思ってました。なので普通にしか食べてない、みたいな時でも基準血糖値を上回る時には何で？？と毎回思ってました。

すると、妊娠糖尿病というのはそうではなくて、正常の妊婦さんはある時期になると膵臓からインスリンを多く分泌して血糖値を上げないように調節されるけど、妊娠糖尿病の妊婦さんはこのインスリンを必要な分だけ分泌出来ない体質のため、血糖値が上昇するのだそう。そういう体質なので、人より糖質の取り方に気をつけないと処理出来ない糖質量が原因で本格的に糖尿病になってしまったり、お腹の子供にも影響が出たりするそうです。

ちなみに妊娠糖尿病と認定されるにはブドウ糖負荷試験で条件の2点以上を満たした場合、とあり、私は1点だったと思うのですが、出産まで今の血糖値計測を続けないといけないみたい。何か体質って言われるとどうにも出来ない気がしてショック。。食事を分けて取るとかすれば大丈夫みたいですが、分けて取るって難しかったり・・。まあ大体の場合分食しなくても大丈夫なのは救いですが、何かショック。。

I've been writing about glucose recently but I realized that my basic understanding of pregnant diabetes was wrong today.. I was shocked.. I thought I was taking too much glucose compared to before being pregnant. Thus when the figure went above target even I was eating normally, I was wondering why??

Then I found out that pregnant diabetes is pregnant people who can not secrete insulin constitutionally as necessary. Thus their glucose figure goes up than usual. It's constitutional so unless you are careful, you can become real diabetes or give effect to the baby in your stomach.

The information I saw says that if you meet two conditions when you take the glucose tolerance test, you are identified as pregnant diabetes. I met one but seems like I need to continue doing the glucose figure check till I give birth. Being told that it's constitutional, I feel like I can't do anything and it's somewhat really shocking.. ; (( It's advised to take the meal 6 times a day instead of 3 times but taking meal separately is not that easy.. Well, most of the time, I'm ok even I don't separate so I guess I'm better in one way but still it's somehow really shocking...

やっと完了！/Finally Done！

It's bit difficult to see with these dark photos but you can see that the length has changed. Since I moved here, I always wanted to change this and finally it's done!!! I'm so happy ; )

イースター休み/Easter Holiday

今日はイースター休日で今週末は3連休。旦那さまのお友達のお家にお昼ご飯食べに行きました☆4歳のお嬢さんがいるこのお家にはチョコがいっぱい！血糖値の範囲内でいくつか頂きました（＾＾；）

そうそう、再利用可能な石板に4歳の彼女が皆のお名前を書いて席に置いてくれました（*^^*）。ちょっと逆の文字もあっただけど（笑）。うーん、かわいい♪

Today was Easter holiday and it was 3 days weekend! We went to have lunch at my hubby's friend's house. They have 4 years old daughter and had so many chocolates! I had some which is within the limit of my glucose figure.. ; )

4 years old daughter wrote each of our name on reusable stone plate : D One letter was bit opposite but it was so cute : ))

再びAki Boulangerでパンを買う/Again to Aki Boulanger

昨日行った国虎屋さんは日本食街にあるので、来たついでにまた「Aki Boulanger」でパンを買いました☆幼き頃からパンに慣れ親しんでいるフランス人の旦那さまは、パン一つ一つが高過ぎる・・と言うけれど、メロンパンとかコロネパンとか我が家の下のBoulangerでは買えないもん。。

桜餅パン3.2ユーロにドン引きしてましたが、季節ものだから〜、桜餅は買わないし〜と半ば強引に購入（＾＾；）。チョコメロンパンにチョココロネ、クリームコロネに桜餅パンお買い上げ☆

分けて食べるはずが今日午前中にペロっと食べちゃって・・・（旦那さまにもあげました！）、血糖値が基準超えしたのは言うまでもありません。。お金も使っちゃった上に体にまで被害を及ぼし反省。。でも美味しかった・・。いやいや、反省。。

Kunitoraya yesterday is around the Japanese food area so I went to Aki Boulanger again to get some breads. Hubby says each one is too expensive! since he's used to cheaper breads that are sold everywhere since he was small.. Though, you can't buy melon bread or 'corone' bread at any boulanger...

He was even more surprised on 'sakuramochi bread' which was 3.2 euro.. but I bought it saying that it's seasonal bread and I'm not buying sakuramochi! Today I got chocolate melon bread, chocolate colone bread, cream colone bread and sakuramochi bread ; D

I was going to eat little by little but somehow it all went into my stomach during the morning... (I did give some to my hubby!) so my glucose figure of course went above my target.. I felt bad using money and doing something bad for my body.. thought it was good... but I of course feel bad ; 0

Restaurant: 「国虎屋 Villedo」 」/Kunitoraya Villedo

ベベちゃん誕生前にちょくちょく出かけておかねば！？と言いながら今日はまた日本人のお友達2人と旦那さまと友達お勧めの日本食屋さん「Kunitoraya Villedo」へ。お友達は和食とフレンチのフュージョンのような、と言ってましたが、フランス人の旦那さまからするとかなり和食テイストだったみたいです。欧米人に受け入れられやすいお皿と受け入れにくいお皿がはっきりしてるかもと言ってました。

Good to go out before the baby comes out!? is a good reason to go out I guess ; ) We went to 「Kunitoraya Villedo」 with my Japanese friends. My friend said it's like combination of Japanese and French but according to my French hubby, it was Japanese. He said each dishes might be pretty clear if western people like it or not.

ちなみに受け入れられにくいと思うと言っていたカラスミ大根、隣りの外国人テーブルはカラスミだけ沢山残ってました。代わりに食べてあげたい！そして日本酒と一緒に食べられたら最高〜（笑）。もうちょっと？の我慢、我慢！（カラスミ、食べ始める前に写真撮り忘れ・・。）

One that he said might be difficult for western people was 'karasumi daikon' (botargo & radish). The table next to us with 4 western people had many botargo left. I wanted to eat for them! If I could eat it with Japanese sake, it would be great ; D Though I have to wait little bit for that.. (Forgot to take photo before starting to eat karasumi..)

親子煮トリュフ入りなんかは受け入れやすいお皿の模様。とても美味しいと言っておりました。全体的に日本人としてはありがたい味が多かったです。また来よう〜っと。
'Oyako-ni Truffle' (Chicken, egg and truffle) seems like it will be very well accepted. My hubby liked it a lot. Overall, I felt that there were many dishes that Japanese people will appreciate. I want to come again : )

ちなみに元々おうどんのお店なので最後はおうどんで締め！

締め、というのもまた日本食らしくて良かったです☆

BTW, it's originally a udon place so we had udon to finish up. 

Having a dish with rice or noodles is also very Japanese and I liked it = )

クレープ通り/Crepe Street

自宅から比較的近いモンパルナスにはクレープ通りがあります。そのままですが、クレープ屋さんが軒を連ねます。一番人気の場所は映画の後の22時半頃でも並んでいたので、今日は旦那さまがよく行く他のお勧めクレープ屋さん「La Crêperie Bretonne」へ。小さめのお店だけど22時半とかでもほぼ満席〜。遅めなので具が3種類くらいのものにしておきました。また他の豪勢なのを今度は食べてみたい〜（＾＾）

There is a crepe street at Montparnasse. Many crepe restaurants are on the street. The most famous place still had line even it was like 22:30pm so we went to a place my hubby goes often. 「La Crêperie Bretonne」. This place was almost full too even it was quite late. I went with the light one today but hope to try more gorgeous one next time!
