高級住宅街！？/High-Class Residential Area！？

今日は旦那さまのお友達夫妻と近場でランチ。前にも書いたビュトカイというエリア。このエリア、数年前からかなり値上がりしたらしい。結構色々なレストランやバーが揃うのと、自宅から歩いて15分くらいなので旦那さまとちょこちょこ来ます。

今日は4人でそんな高級な？住宅が集まってる通りを歩いてみました。私の感想は「建物古いね〜。」3人のフランス人達は「そう？そんな古くないよ。」でした。フランスは古い建物多いのでこれくらい普通か〜。

We had lunch with my hubby's friend couple around Butte-aux-Cailles. The price of this area bumped up from few years ago and now is like a high-class residential area. There are good fancy restaurants and bars and it's only 15mins walk from our place so we come here quite frequently.

Four of us walked this 'high-class residential area' today. I said 'all houses look old' but other three French people said, 'really? it's not that old.' There are many old buildings in France so I guess these are normal in France ; )
